Are you looking for reliable female employees?
Give women who are ready to work a chance!
Be part of the solution to social inequalities in Eastern Slovakia.
Our partner, Karpatská nadácia, implements the “UPre ženy” (For Females) programme, which builds self-esteem and opportunities for Roma women from disadvantaged backgrounds and prepares them to enter the labour market.
The Foundation is currently looking for employers who are willing to provide job opportunities for graduates of the program – women who have undergone an intensive development process and are ready to develop their potential, gain a stable income and change their life situation. More about the “UPre ženy” programme can be found at www.uprezeny.sk
Together, we will create a more inclusive labour market.
About the "UPre ženy" programme
The “UPre ženy” is a unique educational and support program for Roma women from segregated communities. It helps them gain the confidence, practical skills and support they need to enter the labour market. The programme responds to the combined discrimination faced by women, Roma, and members of excluded communities.
Karpatská nadácia has been implementing the “UPre ženy” programme since 2021 with the support of Norwegian funds and corporate partners such as TPA, Deutsche Telekom Services Europe and the Starbucks Foundation.
Roma women undergo six months training that enables them to acquire new knowledge, attitudes and skills. The programme also works with the families of participants to build supportive environments and relationships, and with employers in the region to create inclusive working conditions and employment opportunities.
