TPA Slovakia lecture for the participants of the UFor Women programme
Cooperation with Karpatská nadácia
At TPA Slovakia, we believe that the best things happen when people come together and share their experience. Recently we have had the opportunity to prepare a lecture for the participants of the UFor Women programme hosted by Karpatská nadácia.
This project supports Roma women in their professional and personal growth, and we are grateful we could give a helping hand where needed.
Topic: job interviews and employment contracts
Our colleague has prepared a lecture full of practical tips and advice – starting with the preparation for job interviews and points to look out for when signing an employment contract.
Instead of just humdrum theory, the lecture focused on real situations we all know from practice. The debate was lively and open, and both sides asked questions and shared their experience.
Visit to the TPA office in Košice
In addition to the lecture itself, we hosted a visit to the TPA office in Košice for female participants. They got a glimpse of our daily work and a sense of our characteristic friendly atmosphere. It was a pleasure to show what a modern working environment looks like and the role of teamwork.
Open discussions and experience sharing
The atmosphere of the event was informal and inspiring. During the lecture, many questions were asked and debates arose with the participants openly sharing their experience. It was equally inspiring for us to listen to their stories and perspectives on various challenges in their professional and personal lives.

Practical support of women or why are we doing it?
We are convinced that events like this make a lot of sense – they bring people together, bring new perspectives and motivate them to take the next steps.
We are happy to have been able to contribute and support the important mission of the Carpathian Foundation: empowering Roma women and creating space for their development.
